Our philosophy at the Horseshoe is simple, fresh, simple and tasty sourced from the local suppliers in North Yorkshire like Ford’s butchers in Glaisdale or Beacon Farm Ice Cream in Whitby. We also ensure we offer the best value for money possible.
Whether you come to the Horseshoe for our fabulous 28 day 10oz Sirloin Steak or our Chef’s own Spicy Vegetarian Bean Burger with Salsa in a Brioche Bun you’ll find some of the best pub food in the area and great value for money.
Booking is highly recommended. Please note our opening hours may alter depending on demand, booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Lunch 12:00 – 2pm (2.30pm on Saturday, 7pm on Sundays)
Dinner 6pm – 8.30pm Monday to Saturday
Sunday Lunch is served all day (12pm – 7pm) – last booking is 6.45pm
You can dine in our dining room or at one of the tables around the bar area next to the log burning stove it’s entirely up to you, the menus and the service are the same high standard you would expect anywhere.
Chef’s start preparing Sunday lunch late on Saturday when the ovens are started to slow cook the lamb so it’s perfectly tender and ready for Sunday lunch, served with our own homemade Yorkshire puddings. Our beef is served medium/rare just the way it should be.
